Sunset is the recording project and band of Bill Baird. Baird has been performing and recording under the name Sunset and other variations of that name since 2006, exploring folk roots songcraft and incorporating a variety of musical and recording influences into the process. The Wild Moccasins bring a unique blend of fun melodic pop and crafty lyrics. With a collection of songs featuring male-female vocals mixed with steadfast, pop-infused percussion and string work, the quintet of 20-somethings from Houston offer a sound that balances a musical guile beyond the band’s years with a vibrant energy that flaunts its youth.
