94769 <p>Arc Angels is Austin's original super group, combining the immense talents of Charlie Sexton, Doyle Bramhall II, and two former members of Stevie Ray Vaughan&rsquo;s rhythym section, Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton. Their first and only album, released on Geffen Records in 1992, earned the group an armful of Austin Music Awards including Best Band three years running. Their record was produced by Little Steven, and though it never sold well was still highly regarded, especially in Texas. The band recently reunited after a long hiatus, and will be performing at Antone's this Saturday.
