Back in the summer of 2007, Mou and Anhelo of Monterrey, México's Nene Records decided to start up a new project with distorted bass lines, a crazy drum set and fucked up vocals on delay. Months later they had more than enough tracks to show to the world, and their 2008 debut album found enough critical acclaim to encourage these two stoners to cook up a whole LP and land a slot at SXSW 2009. Known for their fast, chaotic live performances and an appetite for psychedelic drugs, XYX are building a weird shaped reputation everywhere.
