Daniel Francis Doyle and his one-man band draw a fine line between spastic noise and catchy pop sensibilities. His material is harsh, jerky and sometimes completely silent with little bursts of feedback here and there. Live performances consist of train-wreck drumming coupled with endless lists of complaints shouted into his microphone headset, all while attempting to manipulate live guitar loops and feedback to chug along at the same pace. With When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth, Elvis, and Dana Falconberry at Beerland on Thursday.
