New York rock band The Walkmen have already released five albums in their short career, highlighted by popular singles like "The Rat" and "Louisiana." Their 2008 record entitled "You & Me" is arguably their best effort to date, filled with atmospheric, indie-infused Americana with intense and beautiful songwriting. Blitzen Trapper is a Portland-based experimental alt-folk-rock band who landed a deal with Sub Pop Records after self-releasing their first three albums. At Emo's on Thursday with Wye Oak.
