At the root of it all, we&rsquo;re creating a safe and creative environment for art to happen and be experienced in new ways.&nbsp; AO is all about you, the artist, and creating a unique environment for people to experience your art.</p> <p><em><strong>Where is ART OUTSIDE?</strong></em></p> <p>We are proud to announce that Art Outside 2009 will be held at a <a href="http://www.apachepass.com"><strong>Apache Pass</strong></a>, a privately-owned, Hill Country ranch in a spectacular location <strong><a href="http://www.artoutside.org/location.html">Rockdale, TX</a></strong> (1hr 20min drive from Austin). The Apache Pass is not only stunningly beautiful but is steeped with <strong><a href="http://www.apachepass.com/history.html">history</a></strong>, named by early Spanish Explorers for the gravel bar crossing of the San Gabriel River, used for centuries by Native American Indians, explorers, sellters, and local ranchers.
