Birds Barbershop and Lone Star Beer are inviting everyone, notably the cycling community to join them Sunday, October 11 for a "Hair Metal Pedal Party," hosted at Birds' East side shop located on 1107 E. 6th St. The party will commence with a free for all race at 5 p.m. Prizes will be provided by Vulcan Video, Milwaukee Bicycle, Clown Dog, The Peddler and Thunderbird Coffee to name a few. A BMX Jam and contest will follow after with DJ Andy the Mouth on the decks and complimentary Lone Star Beer on tap. Free cycling caps for pedicab drivers with licenses.
