They have always been - and always will be - a raw, high energy-filled live performance with a fine blend of psycho-alien-voodoo-bad girl originals. Mr. Lewis and the Funeral 5 play songs with lyrics about murder, drinking and desperation, except backed by jubilant melodies which put the band in their own genre, or in the words of their bass player, 'macabaret'.
