The Steps

Born under the influence of classic rock in the Live Music Capital of the World, The Steps chisel through modern rock with 60’s sensibilities. The band achieved international success with their first releases: a 7″ vinyl single brought by Young and Lost Club Records (UK) in 2007, and their eponymous debut LP on Kurofune Records (Japan) in 2008. Continuing with long time producer, Chris “Frenchie” Smith (JET, Explosions in the Sky, The Dandy Warhols), The Steps’ first U.S. release, Take It All In, hits stores July 21st.

Avid students of pop through the ages, the band distills greatness from classic and modern influences. Forever questing for innovation, SPEAK invoke timeless melodies in energetic, synth-laden anthems.
The band is completing it's debut album, I Believe In Everything, produced by Chris "Frenchie" Smith (JET/Dandy Warhols), to be released in 2010 on Playing in Traffic.
