Grupo Fantasma is an 11-piece orchestra who have garnered high esteem with fans and critics nationwide for their musicianship, stage presence and unique sound. Their critically acclaimed album "Sonidos Gold" is a cumbia-salsa-funk fusion, a 21st-century version of Latin groove that was nominated for a Grammy. The record’s dozen tracks, guided by the deeply rooted traditions of cumbia, salsa, funk, and pyschedelia are as pertinent to the past as they will be influential on the future. The sound is organic, live, while sonically it’s big and roomy with psychedelic and cinematic undertones. It pays homage to the forefathers of this music yet is forward thinking at the same time.

TJ Wade, the blind singer and keyboard virtuoso, happens to have a strong attraction to that certain underrated body part. Foot Patrol is all about feet, as in making your feet move to hot grooves that combine 1980s Minneapolis funk with Hip Hop, James Brown, New Wave, Funkadelic, video game music, and many more influences in an absurdist, post-modern celebration. Their combination of showmanship, humor and accomplished musical skills help to transcend the gimmicky trappings of other themed bands.
