Friends, Colleagues, Total Strangers! Come enjoy some great tunes while celebrating another year in the life of one our fave Austinites, the man behind Above the Radar Pr!

We'll have clowns, SCHNAPPS, balloons, beautiful ladies dancing a go-go, mind readers, confetti, rainbows, and more! If you're lucky, Michael may even break-dance.

Featuring performances by Monahans, Sad Accordions, and Frank Smith.

Named for the West Texas sandhills, Austin-based Monahans describe their music as "landscape rock-and-roll." Magnet Magazine listed the band's first release as one of the "10 Hidden Treasures of 2007," and Harp Magazine called it an "under-the-radar gem." The band's latest album "Dim The Aurora" was released by Misra Records, and varies from smoky guitar-blues to mainstream folk rock and sweeping instrumentals.

"Frank Smith is a deceptive group of folks, since there is no one in the band actually named Frank Smith. They recently moved from Boston to Austin and released their first album since moving to the Lone Star State, but their sixth overall. As prolific as Frank Smith is, their sound never gets tired or overused because they continue to play with similar themes while the sound changes from record to record. Frank Smith takes country, punk, honky-tonk, noise, folk and indie rock and molds them into different configurations without ever sounding forced." -Punknews
