Bands Featured:

6:45 pm: 1001 Nights Orchestra:

"Conceptualized and led by Kamran Hooshmand, 1001 Nights Orchestra has entranced Austin with the music and culture of the Middle East since the late 1980's."

8 pm: Katie Gray

"After spending 4 years in the acting industry in Los Angeles, singer/songwriter Katie Gray began her musical path in 2004.
Katie has persevered the not-so-simple journey of being a young woman in the world today and put her pain, love and inspiration into the creating and performance of her songs."

9 pm: Naga Valli

"The mesmerizing singer Naga Valli infuses sounds from her native India with original Western pop and rock songs. Currently recording, she plans to release an album this year."

10 pm: Manga Rosa

"Manga Rosa is a band envisioned and created by Singer Sarah Altoé and Guitarrist/Songwriter Frank Almendra with the intention of bringing a variety of Brazilian rhythms and beats to their own creative light an treat them with the duo's modern arrangements and musicality."

11:30 pm: Marc Utter and the Blackland

"From the heart of a century old barn on the blackland prarie just east of Austin, comes a sound that, while unmistakably Texan, might be heard on the plains of some distant land across the ocean. Gypsy rhythms and slide guitar, banjo and snake charmer blend beautifully as Marc Utter's new band grooves his tales of desprate lovers, destiny, guns and angels."

1 am: La Guerrilla

"Austin, Texas international experimental pop rowdy band La Guerrilla - named for the Peruvian guerrilla groups that Rumiche grew up accustomed to as a child - feature violinist/vocalist Liza McCown, bassist Nathaniel Natal, drummer Paul Joseph Loney, sousaphonist/percussionist Zumbi, and singer/guitarist Enrique Rumiche."
