Fall Fromage Fest at The French Legation

Love cheese? Love wine? Love Texas?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please join us at The French Legation Museum Wednesday November 10th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm for a one-of-a-kind event celebrating fall and fabulous history with incredible Austin cheese creations and French wine.

Indulge Cheese

Don’t miss the fabulous creations of Austin’s Indulge Cheese - unique and absolutely delicious fromage masterpieces – paired with the gift of wine from our special friend Franc Petit, of France, from the 13th century vineyard Domaine de l'Abbaye , located in Villefranche-sur-mer, France.

This free event celebrates the preservation project currently underway at the French Legation, a non-profit historic house museum and the oldest wood-frame structure and home in Austin.

Additionally, the Museum is honored to facilitate a delegation visit from Villefranche-sur-Mer, led by Deputy Mayor Cedric Cirasa. Part of a continued effort by the FLM to support beneficial cultural and economic Franco-Texan connections, the Fall Fest kicks off a week of Austin area activities designated for the French visitors.

The French Legation Museum, a non-profit historic house museum, is the oldest wood-frame structure in Austin and a Texas State Archeological Landmark. Built to serve as the diplomatic outpost for King Louis Philippe of France to the Republic of Texas, the legendary open-to-the-public museum has a rich, storied history, is listed on the National Register, and is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, and a Austin Historic Landmark. The FLM is currently under the custodianship of The Daughters of The Republic of Texas. For more information, please contactprograms@frenchlegationmuseum.org or visitwww.FrenchLegationMuseum.org.
