The Wine & Swine Culinary Weekend is a 3-Day tribute to all things pork! Great wines, amazing chefs and plenty 'o pig. Here are just some of the things involved that you can partake in:
Central Texas' top chefs go whole hog to trot out their finest pork creations using all parts of the pig. It's a head-to-hoof challenge in this walk around tasting with each dish paired with an old world wine and a new world wine.
Join wine and food experts as together you explore wines perfect for porky. You're invited to sit, swirl and savor amazing and unique wines while sampling a variety of pork specialties.
Head to the Texas Hill country for an authentic outdoor pig roast hosted by Central Texas top chefs. Each chef will cook a whole pig in his/her own culinary style for an all-out pig-out, complete with sides, pork-tastic wines, craft beer and a live music ham jam.
The Texas Hill Country Wine and Food Festival brings together innovative culinary artisans and wine producers who celebrate the rich traditions that influence Texas wine and food. The Festival's purpose is to promote Texas wine and food and to increase appreciation of Texas' impact on food and wine throughout the world. Founded in the Texas Hill Country in 1986, the Festival is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization.
