Each New Year’s Eve, it seems there is more and more pressure to have the best night of your year. An especially difficult feat if your last New Year’s rocked as hard as mine. The parties get more extravagant and undoubtedly more expensive, as we only get older, fatter and more impatient.

To avoid the new year’s stresses, we recommend doing whatever it is that makes you happy. And by happy, of course we mean go see live music. Austin’s beloved Bob Schneider is back to show us how to have a good time on this eve of the new year at The Paramount Theatre. I suppose it’s possible you’ve never seen one of his performances. But we have no doubt that you, as a do-er of Austin, have at the very least heard his name mentioned in passing or seen his face plastered on the walls of Waterloo Records and the like.

Bob delivers a little something for just about everyone: rock, country, funk, folk, rap, punk, etcetera. He’s been around since the lat ’90s and is becoming one of those Austin staples for which we like to take credit, like Willie Nelson and breakfast tacos.
