Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. is the Detroit duo of Daniel Zott and Josh Epstein. Their debut album has yet to be released, but the duo has already been championed by a number of top music outlets across the country. They were deemed one of Paste and NPR's top artists at this year's SXSW, sporting matching racing jumpsuits no less. They were also one of Stereogum's 'Best New Bands of 2010,' were a featured guest on NPR's 'All Songs Considered,' and selected by SPIN as one of the best artists from CMJ. The duo first made their presence known upon releasing their Horse Power EP in 2010, which drew instant praise from numerous outlets such as the New York Times and band-breaking radio stations KCRW and KEXP. Their sound has been described as everything from ‘an inspired mix of hip-hop and folk’ to ‘psych-retro pop’ and ‘beach wave.’ Zott and Epstein (accompanied in the live setting by drummer Cory Eberhard) recently wrapped up a tour with Tapes 'n Tapes, and is currently on a national headlining tour in support of their forthcoming debut LP, It's A Corporate World, out June 7.
