The 2nd Annual San Marcos River Reggae Festival coming up on Saturday, July 30 from 1 – 11 p.m. It involves great music, food and beer, good vibes, and there will also be handmade arts and crafts to peruse.

The Beautiful Plaza Park is located on the cold waters of the San Marcos River and across from the tube rentals so you can tube in and tube out all day as all wristbands are good for ins and outs. Kids under 8 are free with parent.

At the San Marcos River Reggae Festival AfterParty, there will be a variety of live musical entertainment. Selekta Ras Gilbert will start off the evening at 10:00 pm, followed by 2pc. at 10:30 pm. Then Don Chanti will take the stage at 11:15 pm, and McPullish will close out the evening, starting at 12:30 am. The San Marcos River Reggae Festival AfterParty will take place at the Texas Music Theater (located at 120 East San Antonio in San Marcos) on Saturday, July 30, 2011, beginning at 10:00 pm. Doors will open at 9:00 pm.
