Austin is full of young, bright, innovative people who are always looking for new and different ways to connect people through business and community.  The AYC (Austin Young Chamber of Commerce) is an organization that does just that.  Each year, they host The FAVE Awards, celebrating and honoring Austin area businesses that cater to young professionals.  On Friday, October 14th we’re teaming up with AYC to throw an awesome after party at Antone’s, and we’ve lined up some great entertainment to help you properly celebrate post-awards ceremony style.

We were overjoyed to win the award for best “Source for Local Information” at last year’s FAVE Awards, and we’re excited to be a contender again this year!

Once you’re done checking out which young businesses are kicking ass and being awarded for their impressiveness, come to Antone’s and rock out with Lance Herbstrong, Austin’s own dub/dance/remix group. Also performing will be hip hop free-styling genius Zeale, who made an appearance in our Do512 Lounge. AYC Committee Chair Tommy Belton and his progressive rockers Wounded City will be opening the night. Come dance, drink and listen to some awesome music to celebrate Austin’s finest young businesses!
