John Leguizamo returns to the Paramount with his award-winning comedy, Ghetto Klown in his first tour of Texas since his hit one-man show, Sexaholix… A Love StoryGhetto Klown is the next chapter in John Leguizamo’s popular personal and professional story. It is his fifth one-man play, his third on Broadway, and follows in the uninhibited tradition of his Mambo MouthSpic-O-RamaFreak, and Sexaholix…a Love Story. In Leguizamo’s trademark style, the piece explodes with energy, heating up the stage with vivid accounts of the colorful characters who have populated his life. He takes audiences from his adolescent memories in Queens to the early days of his acting career and on to the sets of major motion pictures and his roles opposite some of Hollywood's biggest stars.

A multi-faceted performer and Emmy Award winner, John Leguizamo has established a career that defies categorization. From his Golden Globe nominated performance as a sensitive drag queen in Too Wong Foo: Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar to his scene-stealing turn as Toulouse-Lautrec in Moulin Rouge! to providing the voice of Sid in the Ice Age movies, Leguizamo is a performer who truly defies categorization. His boundless energy and creativity, his work in film, theatre, television, and literature covers a variety of genres, continually threatening to create a few of its own.

“A Nuclear Performer, ricocheting around the stage as though he had been shot out of a pistol! This dancing dynamo and ace mimic provides a tour --the high points and lows -- of his career in showbiz in his hip-hop version of the talking cure.”

~L.A. Times

"It's hilarious and irresistible - Leguizamo has the energy of a 12 year old who just downed a Red Bull and a jumbo package of Twinkies as he bops, boogies and break-dances across the stage re-living his rollicking subway ride of life from obscurity to celebrity in Hollywood and New York"
