- Amanda Jo Cevallos is a real Texas girl, born in Dallas and raised in Houston, TX. She's been singing and writing country music since 1997. She picked up a guitar in 2003 while going to college in Missoula, MT, and the rest is history'. She's opened for The Marshall Tucker Band & The Avett Brothers & shared the stage with her idol, storyteller, Todd Snider. This October Amanda will open for anot...her one of her favorite songwriters, Susan Gibson at Pink Fest in Wimberly, TX at The Cypress Creek Cafe. Amanda lives in Austin Texas and performs regularly at the Legendary Broken Spoke on Tuesdays from 6pm-8pm in the restaurant. Amanda's band is a 5-piece band with Pedal Steel Guitar featuring Neil Flanz ,who used to play with Gram Parsons and The Fallen Angels.
