Reflecting our city's vibrant creative energy, downtown Austin's art festival is set against streets, plazas and green spaces where the award-winning Austin City Hall rests on the banks of Lady Bird Lake. A gateway for many, a beloved tradition for others, Art City Austin is a temporary art utopia where curious and delightful discoveries await! Join us in the heart of the 2ND Street District to celebrate art Austin-style! Artists, live music, local eats, a Kid's Block and so much more.

When: April 14-15, 2011. Saturday, 10am to 6pm & Sunday, 11am to 6pm

Where: Cesar Chavez Street from Lavaca Street to just east of Lamar Boulevard, including the 1st Street Bridge | FREE parking + shuttle from AISD lot on West 5th Street | see map | road closures

Admission: $8 contribution for adults at the gate | FREE kids 12 and under and volunteers | FREE admission + shuttle to Austin Museum of Art + The Blanton included | FREE admission when you park your bike at the Mellow Johnny's Bike Valet (1st Street Bridge)
