description: play with lasers! participants will be using the laser cutter at MAKEatx to cut wood earrings or a necklace pendant (either unfinished wood or laminated with fabric). you'll walk away with a beautiful piece of jewelry that's designed and built by you!

material requirements: none. we will have fabric available, but if there is a piece / scrap you love that you can't wait to turn into jewelry, please bring it! the laser cutter can handle any natural fiber fabric (cotton, wool, rayon, silk, linen) -- please avoid synthetics, as they can produce toxic gasses when vaporized.
