     Penfold Theatre Company closes its 2011-12 Season withThe Pavilion by Craig Wright - the writer of Prelude to a Kiss, HBO's "Six Feet Under" and ABC's "Lost."  The Pulitzer Prize-nominated play runs April 26th to May 13th at the Hyde Park Theatre.
     Peter and Kari are the perfect high school couple, until heartbreak and years of separation drive them further and further apart.  On the night of their 20-year reunion, Peter returns and wants back into Kari's life.  With help from a Narrator, who plays all the other guests at the party, The Pavilion asks what could have been and what might still be.
    Directed by Ryan Crowder, the Penfold staging features Kim Adams, Nancy Eyermann and Zach Thompson.  The romantic drama - commonly celebrated as the Our Town for our time - was nominated for the American Theatre Critics' Association "Best New Play Award" and the 2005-2006 Drama Desk "Award for Outstanding Play."  Written a decade ago, the show has been produced at regional theatres around the nation.
     Performances will play Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., with a Sunday matinee on May 13th at 5 p.m.  Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for students and seniors.
       An Opening Night Party will follow the show on Thursday, April 26th.  Tickets are $25 for opening night, during which Penfold Theatre will announce its 2012-13 Season.
