Bemba Entertainment is bringing in Sonido Sol and AquaDrums, with live music and drum/lighting performances that make for a potent combination. This is happening on May 1^st at Mi Casa; offering the most authentic atmosphere for live music and dancing.

From slow soothing boleros to hot moving rumbas, Mi Casa will be the place to be this Saturday night. Taking stage from 10 p.m. to 1 am. will be Sonido Sol, a Latin band with sounds that originate from Spain and beats that range from soft and delicate to high energy. The up and coming Sonido Sol finds its inspiration from musicians such as Gypsy Kings, Ketama, Celia Cruz and Ojos de Brujo.

Dan Egger-Belandria performs with Sonido Sol on AquaDrums; percussions that fuses water and colored lights for a spectacular audiovisual show. Egger-Belandria, creator of Aqua Drums, has toured North America with highlights like Bacardi B-Live Tour with Mix Master Mike from the Beastie Boys and Shakira’s VIP party in Miami.

The Austin-based duo performs on pre-recorded tracks, allowing for a show they describe as “electronic merging with acoustic.” It’s traditional flamenco music that incorporates today’s funky, upbeat rhythms for short-attention spanned audiences.

The show starts at 10 p.m. and continues until 1 a.m. General admission cost is free for 21 and up, and $5 cover for under 21.
