Who can resist a taco? And the tastiest tacos of all are found in Austin. That’s why Latinometro is presenting TACORAMA, the first annual Austin taco festival. It will begin on May 5, with a Cinco de Mayo celebration at the Mexican American Cultural Center (MACC) and end on May 12 at the Pachanga Music Festival at Fiesta Gardens. All that week there will be a series of events around town celebrating our Latino heritage, culture, and…food! Restaurants around town will offer a special taco menu and we’ll tell you all about it in Latinometro. And it’s all for a good cause, to raise awareness of hunger in the Latino community.
