Shuck and Suck Classic Crawfish & Oyster Fest

It’s that time of year again. The Annual Shuck and Suck Classic Crawfish and Oyster Fest is drawing near and is here to fill that void of spice, sodium, cold beers, and bottom feeders in your hearts and stomachs. As always we will combine the efforts of Quality Seafood, Glazers Distributors, and The Electric Company to create the likes of a boil seldom seen.

We are currently hard at work putting together all the details, but you can be sure this year will be one of the best in Austin. With over 1000 pounds of farm raised and purged crawfish in peak season form, live music, moonwalk, and other fun activities, there will be plenty to keep the kids occupied so load up the truckster and bring the whole family.

The mother of all boils will go down Sunday May 6th on the Lawn of American Legion Hall (Next to Deep Eddy Pool and Lady Bird Lake). So bring your swimsuits, Kayaks, and Stand Up Paddleboards. We are limiting capacity this year to 500 to be sure everyone has plenty of food. Rich from Quality Seafood, Austin’s best seafood market, is bringing the freshest mud bugs and oysters known to man and boiling them up like only Quality can.

All you can eat is included in the cost for your $25 ticket ($30 Day of Show). Kids under 12 are free and 12-20 year old kids are a $10 donation. Libations are complimentary and provided by Real Ale, Tito’s, & Maker’s Mark. Did we mention this good time is for a great cause? Portions of the proceed will go to Candlelight Ranch which provides a unique outdoor environment where special needs and at-risk children learn, play and heal through the wonders of nature.
