Clyde and Clem's Whiskey Business

Clyde and Clem's Whiskey Business, based in Austin, Texas, is an 7 (sometimes more!) piece bluegrass disaster. Raised on a steady diet of punk and rock, rather than the requisite Flat & Scruggs, they push their instruments and bodies to the breaking point and beyond in a high-energy live show known for demolishing bar sales records across Texas. A hodgepodge of blazing-fast foot stompers and dopey slur-alongs, Clyde and Clem's Whiskey Business' performances must be seen to be believed, and seen twice to recall any details. Loved by misfits, punks, and hippies, disdained by traditional string bands, Whiskey Business proudly bills themselves as "The Worst Bluegrass Band in Town".

White Ghost Shivers
White Ghost Shivers is an eclectic American band based in Austin, Texas which claims cabaret, jazz, vaudeville, hokum, western swing, hillbilly, jugband and ragtime as its inspiration.[1] The band has been declared "Best None of the Above" by the Austin Music Awards for 2005 and 2007. W just like them cuz they're a toe-tapping good time.

East Cameron Folkcore

It really does take a village, or at least a northeast Austin neighborhood, to build a band. The ten (sometimes more)-piece folk-rock collective East Cameron Folkcore is proof. Pieced together out of a wide palette of talent from the neighborhood of the same name, East Cameron Folkcore creates its own brand of big, cathartic, rock-inflected folk music. -Paul Carrubba (kut.org)

Their debut record "Sound & Fury" was named #1 Album in the 2011 Austin Chronicle's Critic Poll; While they're eagerly awaited followup, "The Sun also Rises", is set for official release May 15th, 2012. Followed quickly by a national tour in support of the record.
