nerdy neighbors, and flannel-clad countrymen: strap on your knit wool
thinking caps and head to the Brixton on Thursday, June 21st for GRUNGE
TRIVIA, the first of hopefully many Pick-Axe Bobby music-themed trivia
nights. We'll have bar tabs for the top three teams,
and the first-place team will win free passes to the upcoming Melvins
show at the Mohawk in October (big thx to Mohawk for the hookup!).

Questions will (obviously) be Grunge-specific, but not necessarily "alternative" (which we'll cover at a later date). The lines are fuzzy, and nerd arguments may ensue, but we'll get through this, I promise.
It's free, and we'll have themed drink specials, minigames, and prizes for the bitchinest Grunge outfits (male and female). Show off your best t-shirt for bragging rights! Also, bring your Grunge vinyl records to trade/sell throughout the night! Let's all pretend to have Seasonal Affective Disorder, bust out the Doc Martens, and harken back to the simpler, over-hyped days of the late 80s/early 90s Pacific Northwest…
