I can't believe, I was in my car listening to KUT as usual, but had many other things on my mind, when all of a sudden this song came on talking about all the things I did in Houston as a kid. I was raised along Telephone road, and we used to play in the streets when it rained, Stanwick Drive and Revelee Drive?) and we used to strip off and swim in Simms Bayou about where Bellfort, just west of Telephone road is now! I remember the Ice houses on Telephone Road. I especially know a place called Kojacks(?) on Long Drive near Telephone. I wonder if we knew each other (I went to Jones and hated Milbey! It was so much fun hearing someone singing about my childhood on the Radio!!I dont know if we will be able to make it, but I would love to be able to see you tomorrow night at Waterloo!
