The Scream It Like You Mean It Tour is back in 2012 with a lineup so huge and completely badass that they announced the lineup over three days back in April.
The tour includes powerhouses Attack Attack! & We Came As Romans. Joining them will be some heavy hitters and upcoming names you're sure to hear about for a long time, including; Woe Is Me, Abandon All Ships, Texas in July, In Fear & Faith, Secrets, Glass Cloud and At The Skylines.Attack! Attack!
Attack Attack! are a six piece Screamo/Post-Hardcore/Electro outfit from Columbus, Ohio. Attack Attack! consist of Austin Carlile (Vocals), Johnny Franck (Vocals/Guitar), Andrew Whiting (Guitar), John Holgado (Bass), Caleb Shomo (Synth/Keys), and Andrew Wetzel (Drums). They are currently signed to Rise Records. We Came As Romans
Recorded with up-and-coming producer Joey Sturgis (The Devil Wears Prada, Emarosa, Attack Attack) at his Foundation Recording Studio, the 10-song follow-up to their breakout EP, Dreams, finds the band expanding their blend of pop-infused metal.
Although recorded with the same producer, there is still an intentional difference between the two albums. We Came As Romans didn't let the fact that they are only a six-piece hold them back from achieving a more symphonic sound on To Plant A Seed. "I played the trombone from Elementary school until I graduated high school and I always took the sound of a symphonic band or an orchestra with me," explains Moore of their decision to add orchestral elements to the album such as the violins, brass, and piano interlaced throughout the album's dynamic layers.
Not unlike the EP, the lyrics on To Plant A Seed reflect We Came As Romans' goal of spreading a positive message through their music. The band hopes, "when people hear the album, they might not change the way they think or the way they act right now, but hopefully we've planted that 'seed', that thought of love, and it can grow."
The theme of the album is carried through to the artwork. Painted by acclaimed artist Paul Romano (Mastodon, Chiodos), the album cover depicts a "very innocent looking boy in which the 'seed' has been planted in his mind and it grows to his heart, out of his palms and becomes branches," describes Moore.

We are Woe, Is Me from Atlanta, GA! Some good ole' boys from down South. We aim to connect with our fans, with our number[s] we would be nothing.Abandon All Ships
Completely turning the modern music scene upside down with their unique mix of hardcore, euro and dance, Abandon All Ships spent 2009 heavily touring North America on the release of their self-titled/self released debut EP. The band didn't slow down in 2010, recording their debut full length 'Geeving' in between tours with Protest The Hero, & A Skylit Drive. Releasing their first single 'Take One Last Breath' in June, the band hit the road again with Drop Dead Gorgeous. Gearing up for the release of the album, the band released the single 'Megawacko2.0' and went on a full US tour with We Came As Romans.
On October 5th the highly anticipated full length Geeving was released and debuted at #27 on Billboard. The band launched the record with a coast-to-coast headline tour of Canada, following that tour with another full US tour supporting Miss May I.
With a 3rd video down the pipe for the title track "Geeving", Abandon All Ships show no signs of slowing down in 2011.Like Moths to Flames
"Emerging from Dayton, Ohio in 2010, Like Moths to Flames hit the ground running from their inception and haven't had the time to look back. The band came together after singer Chris Roetter (formerly of Agraceful and Emarosa) and bassist Aaron Evans (of TerraFirma) decided to collaborate after their respective bands had broken up. Not wasting any time, the two recruited guitarists Zach Huston and Eli Ford and drummer Lance Greenfield, and by the end of the year the band had signed to Rise Records and released its Sweet Talker EP. In 2011, the band made its full-length debut on Rise with When We Don't Exist, which found the fledgling metalcore outfit breaking onto the Billboard Heatseekers chart with its bludgeoning, breakdown-heavy sound." – AllMusicGuideClose to Home
It's very rare that a band can come into the hardcore scene, does it well, and turn heads. Even more rarely does a band come into the pop Scene, does it well, and turn heads. Close To Home does both and shows no sign of slowing down.
The band hails from Cincinnati, and has been touring and selling records DIY for a great part of their early career. The band's hard work ethic got them many sponsor/endorsement deals that even national signed bands would be competing for. The band recently decided on a label to get behind their first full-length release and will be announcing it very shortly.
They have toured DIY independently for years and played dates with Warped Tour, Taste Of Chaos, Silverstein, We Came As Romans, Saosin, Papa Roach, I See Stars, Attack Attack!, Asking Alexandria, and many more. Their Infectious melodies and lyrics keep you wanting more, but they bring enough strength to their live performance and breakdowns to leave even the heaviest of fans satisfied.SecretsHailing from sunny San Diego, CA, SECRETS has already made an impact as one of the most promising up and coming acts in the scene. Armed with irresistibly catchy choruses, soaring vocals, and mercilessly dynamic breakdowns, its no wonder the post-hardcore five-piece has seen such success since signing to Velocity/Rise Records in the Spring of 2011.
Velocity Records' Dave Shapiro says, "When I heard these songs, I knew San Diego had yet another band that would be at the forefront of their genre." Rise Records' founder Craig Ericson is equally pumped on the signing, explaining, "Dave showed me the band and I immediately knew these guys were keepers."
SECRETS released their debut full length The Ascent (Produced by Tom Denney) in January of 2012 to rave reviews. The record debuted at #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and became the first Velocity Records release to crack the Billboard Top 200, debuting at #185. SECRETS will be touring heavily this Spring in support of the release, hitting the road with Sleeping With Sirens in March and April and then jumping right into the "This World Is Ours" tour in April and May with heavy hitters Attack Attack! and Escape The Fate.
