If you haven’t been to Oasis, Texas in a while you’re in for a real treat and a lot of live music. Uncle Billy’s Brew & Que, famous for their Barton Springs location have opened a new live music venue, The Rooftop, on the cliffs overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. KGSR will be teaming up to host Lakeside Live every Sunday evening from 5:30 – 8:30pm at Uncle Billy’s Rooftop on Lake Travis so come hang out, grab a beer and BBQ and enjoy the show! The son of acclaimed author Larry McMurtry (Lonesome Dove, Terms of Endearment), James McMurtry grew up on a steady diet of Johnny Cash and Roy Acuff records. In February 2011, two of McMurtry's most popular albums, Childish Things and Live in Aught-Three were reissued by Lightning Rod Records.
