Feat Missy Sparks from Scottsdale Az. “Circuit AZ”

Ms. Sparks discovered her passion for music at the age of 8, while studying classical piano. Throughout her childhood she also played in band, picking up a handful of other instruments. Fast-forward to high school and her love of electronic music is born, then onto college in New York City, where Ms. Sparks delves into DJing. Inspired by the diverse culture of the New York underground club scene, Ms. Sparks began to explore the craft, immersing herself in the groove.

After New York City, Ms. Sparks moved to Arizona to complete her degree at Arizona State University, and has worked diligently to leave her mark on the Arizona electronic music scene. Performing at clubs, and underground dance music events all throughout Arizona, Ms. Sparks also spends much time in the studio uniting her formal musical training and love for electronic music.

Among her vast array of influences, Ms. Sparks places Roger Sanchez, Danny Tenaglia and Dave Seaman among her favorites. Her sound constantly evolving, Ms. Sparks utilizes varying genres of electronic music in her sets, transcending generic classification and taking elements from tech house, minimal, techno, tribal house, and other electronica, generating a sound that is uniquely hers.
