- ASG has just concluded an agreement with KUT & Cactus Cafe to host a series of shows on Wednesdays in July, at the famed venue beginning July 11th. The Wednesday night series will feature a wide range of songwriters, including featured guest artists and select winners from ASG’s current Song Contest, which reaches its submission deadline on June 1st. For those already familiar with ASG’s Mockingbird Wednesdays, that ASG event will be replaced by the Cactus Cafe series for the duration of its residency. Guest performers are being booked presently, and will be announced as soon as possible. It is also expected that performer slots will be chosen from among the ASG membership, and in particular from among the winners of ASG’s Song Contest. Those names will not be able to be announced until the end of June after the final judging on the Song Contest.
