- Exclusive “Rivers Arms” 2xLP Release Show. Balmorhea (pronounced Bal-more-ay) is an instrumental ensemble from Austin, Texas that was formed in 2006 by Rob Lowe and Michael Muller. The band self-released their first album in April 2007 with the following 4 records being released in as many years on the local Western Vinyl imprint. Balmorhea has toured Europe and the US 5 times each, including a performance at the Austin City Limits Festival in 2010. This special intimate engagement is celebrating the re-release of the band’s “Rivers Arms” album as a limited pressing of 500 on hand-screened and numbered jackets with updated artwork and previously unreleased bonus materials.
