Skream and Benga have come a long way from their first experiments in music, messing around on Playstations and in Fruity Loops as teenagers.  With four solo albums, a whole sheaf of EPs, a barrage of singles, and a critically-acclaimed joint album between then, the two young DJs have revolutionized the international dubstep scene with their genre-breaking styles.

It all started in South London’s Big Apple record shop.  There, Skream and Benga met not only each other, but also some of dubstep’s most influential founders, Hatcha and Artwork, laying the foundation for what would eventually become the bass-pounding supergroup, Magnetic Man. 

Propelled to fame by the now-infamous FWD>> nights at Big Apple, Skream and Benga released their first EP together, The Judgment, in 2003.  The two went on to produce massive bodies of work both separately and together, including Skream’s 2010 Outside the Box and Benga’s 2008 Diary of an Afro Warrior, before teaming up with Artwork to create 2010’s Magnetic Man.

While recent days have seen the two putting in solo time both in the studio and on the road, the duo will team up this summer for a few US dates including a stops at Chicago’s Lollapalooza and, of course, Austin’s own ACL Live.
