In 2011 Quiet Company released their new album, We Are All Where We Belong which received the best reviews & response the band has earned to date. At SXSW 2012, they took home a record 10 trophies at the Austin Music Awards, including Band of the Year, Album of the Year for We Are All Where We Belong, Rock Band of the Year, Musician of the Year (Taylor Muse) and more.At times, it's easy for Eastern Sea to forget that Austin, Texas is home. While the band's roots are firmly planted in the Texas Hill Country, their dynamic prose-pop travels from location to location, effortlessly moving between distant settings and their own, still somehow foreign, neighborhoods.
An indie-folk pop band from Austin, Texas, Wild Child began as an acoustic duo consisting of Kelsey Wilson and Alexander Beggins singing ukulele love songs written and shared over red wine and old photographs. The band has since evolved since then into a six-piece outfit, accenting the soulful vocals and folk-influenced instrumentation with lush strings, keys, bells, banjo and percussion.
