Biker movies had reached the end of the road by the early '70’s but fortunately not everybody got the message. This direct-to-VHS crotch rocket brings together Nick-At-Night refugees Adam West and Tina Louise and pits them against one of the mangiest looking biker gangs ever assembled. The dialogue is overheated, the bikes are underpowered and Adam (Batman) West gives the subtlest performance in the movie, if that tells you anything. You get lots of the nature-documentary style footage of bikers in their element that you expect from biker movies, along with some pretty fantastic dialogue. Best of all, the soundtrack attempts to synthesize Steppenwolf-style biker rock with New Wave music. It really works! HELL RIDERS RIDE! (Lars)
