The RetailMeNot Austin Marathon Relay on September 23 at Auditorium Shores in downtown Austin is the largest fundraising event for Junior Achievement of Central Texas. Runners register by making a $35 contribution to JA.
Runners receive a personal fund raising page and unique URL to easily share with friends and family; we encourage them to raise $200 to support two JA classrooms of students (our top fund raising runner to date raised $9,918!!)
The Relay is 5 legs shared by up to 5 runners, and consists of 12K, 10K, 10K, 5K, and 5K legs, run in that order. In its 8th year, the Relay has become a favorite the Austin community. Featuring teams of up to 5 runners, a common start/finish line and a family atmosphere, the Relay is a unique race that provides a great opportunity to participate in an amazing run and enjoy the day at Auditorium Shores. We encourage runners to use their fund raising page to earn great incentives and to help fund Junior Achievement's financial literacy mission for kids in central Texas.
