Austin Fan Fest: Aerosmith with special guest Cheap Trick

Iconic American rock band Aerosmith will headline a concert at the Frank Erwin Center Friday, Nov. 16 with quintessential 1980s rockers Cheap Trick. The concert will be held in conjunction with fan festivals planned around the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX™ Nov. 16-18.

Aerosmith formed in 1970 and have since sold more than 150 million albums, won four Grammy awards and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This will be Aerosmith’s fifth concert at the Frank Erwin Center and first in almost 15 years, when the legendary band toured in support of their hit album, “Nine Lives.”

“F1™ is a huge international sport and we are very pleased to be part of the fan experience at the Erwin Center. Cheap Trick, Aerosmith and Austin—that’s big time fun,” said John Graham, executive senior associate athletics director of the Frank Erwin Center.
