DaHeBeGeBeeS spawned from the vibrant, musical melting pot that is Austin, TX. Austin's mix of Blues, Rock, Latin, Funk, and Soul helped in the creation of the Dahebegebees sound. Ady Hernandez (guitar/lead vocals), a 3rd generation musician, started the band in the late '90's. Newer additions to the band, D WaTz (Drums/vocals), Aaron Hatmaker (Bass) and Miguel McDonald (vocals), as well a newly introduced horn section, have played countless shows since then and miles toured across the U.S. have helped the band form into a tight unit. Through the years, the band has made its name into some of the most elite circles in the music game from Los Lobos, Los Lonely Boys, War, Heart, Little Joe Y La Familia, Toby Keith, Ja rule, Malo, El Chicano, Asleep at the Wheel, Willie Nelson and many more.
Dahebegebees have created a fresh sound with thoroughly danceable groove-based songs compiled with strong melody, rich harmonies, hooks galore and soul-filled substance. Musically sophisticated, The Dahebegebees deliver trade-mark, marathon live performances that draw inspiration from artists such as Santana, Maceo Parker, Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews, and D'angelo, to name a few.
