The Austin Blues Society seeks to represent the past, present, and future of Blues music through education, commemoration and preservation of the rich musical history that is so prominent here in Austin, and throughout Texas. The Austin Blues Society serves the community as Ambassadors of the Blues" and strive to share their love for the culture through Community Events & Festivals, Hosted Jams & Concert programming, "Blues in the Schools" programs, cultural enrichment, and through the support of other organizations with the same or similar mission. The Austin Blues Society is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating higher awareness, and a greater appreciation of this historic art form.
