For the first time, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, internationally known for Method Acting, will offer an incredible opportunity to actors in Austin with a 3-day seminar held at ZACH Theatre in January 25-27, 2013.
Taught by David Lee Strasberg, Lee Strasberg's son, the seminar is designed to hone skills and develop new possibilities for advanced actors while creating a nurturing beginning for less experienced actors. Anyone interested in the Creative Arts may also choose to observe the seminar without participating directly. Observers can watch and attempt exercise work and gain insight into the craft of acting, while immersion participants will receive individual feedback and critique.
Scenes and monologues will complement the exercise work that develops the essential tools of the actor. Highly customized critiques will be offered to challenge each actor while teaching all students the elements required to inspire themselves and expand their creative talents.
Actors are invited to be a part of this exclusive opportunity to learn the skills that make imagination real, emotions genuine, and overcome the resistance to powerful individual expression.
