- Double Header: Sis Deville8:00 / $15 at door The “Cadillac of girl bands,” Sis Deville w/ Shelley King, Carolyn Wonderland, Floramay Holliday (guitar & vocals), Sarah Brown (bass) & Lisa Pankratz (drums), they’re not so much a girl band as a supergroup of Austin’s finest musicians Sweet Meat 10:30 / $5 at door Sweetmeat is a combination of musical talent from Austin bands, Opposite Day, the Invincible Czars, and now Mostly Dead/Mistress Stephanie. Most of the music originated in the mind of Gina Holton, and grew faster and stronger with the musical skills of Sam Arnold (Opposite Day). Other tunes were written on the spot. The sound is a sexy combination of Sade, Lauren Hill, Nell Furtado, B52s.
