Archangel Community Theatre kicks off their first season with the Broadway hit Guys and Dolls: The Musical. Directed by Ivan Klousia, Musically Directed by Jeannette Cannata-Grahmann and Choreographed by Kaitlyn Moise - performances run Saturday August 4th through Sunday August 12th.
Featuring one of the greatest musical scores in the history of the American theatre, Guys and Dolls is a love story about what happens to gambling men and the women who want to tame them. Songs including: “Luck Be a Lady,” “A Bushel and a Peck,” “I’ve Never Been in Love Before,” are sure to bring joy to your ears.
Archangel's production has pulled in some of Austin's biggest names in Musical Theater including: Andrew Cannata (Sky Masterson), Haley Smith-Montgomery (Sarah Brown), Scott Shipman (Nicely-Nicely), Jose Villarreal (Benny Southstreet), Marco Bazan (Nathan Detroit) and Jeanette Cannata-Grahmann (Miss Adelaide). Along with this stellar lead cast, Archangel has gathered some of the best singers and dancers in town to round off this wonderful production.
Performances run Thursday through Saturday at 7:30p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets range from $10 for Students, Children and groups of 10+ to $15 for Adults.
