Tiger roaming your town? No? Then no complaining! You're better off than Sherry, an underemployed and overwhelmed young woman whose mother won't leave her room (she feels fat!), whose sister won't get off the couch (bad breakup!), and whose boss brings his gun to work to defend against an escaped tiger.
Kim Rosenstock's Tigers Be Still, a hilarious take on all the angsty tigers, real and metaphorical, that prowl through modern life, opens at HPT July 12, which (I hate to tell you) is just around the corner. So get your tickets now for the play the San Francisco Chronicle called "an uproar of laughs"--buy them online or call 512-479-PLAY (7529).
Ken Webster, 2012 Critics’ Table Award winner for Outstanding Direction for The Aliens (yay!), directs Jon Cook (The Aliens), Jay Michael Fraley (Spirits To Enforce), Jessica Hughes (Cloud Nine), Molly Karrasch (Proof), and Kelsey Kling (The Glory of Living).
By the way: our sponsored project Capital T Theatre is extending their run of boom, by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, at HPT. It will run through this weekend due to sellout crowds, and it's hilarious, and I'm in it! Get your tickets now, cutie.
PS: Thanks to our HPT season sponsors Hyde Park Bar & Grill, New World Deli, and Sol Marketing Concepts for all their excellence.
