"Shut Up & Sing!" is an acoustic showcase with a slightly different flavor. The world's most talented up-and-coming performers are showcased in a laid-back, intimate acoustic setting, then set free to express their passion through the stories of their songs. By placing pairs of musicians on the stage (sometimes individual artists paired together and trading tunes; other times, multiple members of one band), listeners are treated to a unique, storyteller-like production, allowing one to gain insight into the motivation and inspiration behind an artist's work.

Hosted by two of Austin's premier performers, Robert Cooperman (American Sideshow) and Monte Peck (Hanyaks/American Sideshow), "Shut Up & Sing!" provides a safehaven for musicians and music-lovers alike to experience the intensity and emotion behind the soul-baring performances of these aspiring entertainers.

The "Shut Up & Sing! STORYTELLERS Acoustic Showcase" can be found every Sunday from 8pm to midnight at the Dirty Dog Bar.
