Lower Class Brats set out in 1995 to wage war on emo-, college-, and garage-rock, a battle they’ve been fighting with snotty, ‘77-style street-punk, mohawks, and safety pins. Little about the band’s sound changed on 2006’s The New Seditionaries, with call-and-response anthems and loud, bratty pub-rock still the Brats’ preferred method of communication with all of the “soldiers, dykes, prostitutes, and punks” heralded in the disc’s title track. more at austin.decider.com
