    <title>City Theatre Acting Series: The Art of Auditioning </title>
    <description>&lt;p&gt;Discussion of different auditioning techniques, including methods of preparation, monologue selection and performance, the mechanics of presentation of provided sides, and how to project your desired personal image. Activities: In addition to lectures outlining procedures and techniques for auditioning, students will present auditions at various times to the instructor individually and to the class as a whole. A variety of audition situations will be simulated realistically, including cold readings and prepared readings. Auditions will be critiqued and by the end of the class students will have a great deal more practical audition experience, and a set of criteria to assist the student in future auditions&lt;/p&gt;</description>
