This class is a great opportunity to train the eye and practice mastering the processes and techniques used to sculpt the human figure. Focusing on shape and form, and paying special attention to gesture, students will create accurate representations of a live model (in the same pose each week.) Working in water-based clay without an armature, participants will develop skills necessary to model the human figure and finish a large piece (up to 20 inches) while receiving personal attention throughout each session. If a photograph conveys meaning, whom does it address and why?   This free lecture takes place in CMA A2.320, located in the Jesse H.
