The main gallery features revival decorative art including jewelry by William Spratling and Matilde Poulat, ceramics, paper, books, and textiles, as well as authentic Pre-Columbian artifacts. Fine art works include paintings by Roberto Montenegro and Miguel Covarrubias, and sculptures by Miguel Noreña and Luis Ortiz Monasterio. She has published dozens of books of poetry, and her work has been translated into several languages. This program is presented in conjunction with the Ransom Center’s current exhibition On the Road with the Beats, curated by Schwartzburg. The exhibition, which traces the travels of Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, William S.
